Jennifer Aniston's new romance with Jim Curtis is reportedly hitting a few growing pains as the couple adjusts to life from very different worlds.
According to a new report from Us Weekly, Aniston and Curtis are taking things slowly as they navigate what insiders describe as a major cultural divide.
"For all the talk about how she is 'down to earth' and 'normal,' Jim is the one who has real-world, non-famous friends, not Jen," a source claimed.
The insider added that Aniston has been making a concerted effort to align herself with the wellness guru's lifestyle and energy.
This is reportedly placing unexpected pressure on Curtis to meet her halfway.
According to the report, the Emmy Award winner has even begun "completely remodeling her Bel-Air house to fit Jim’s needs and accommodate how he wants to do his work."
However, the source pointed out that this pattern is not unfamiliar territory for Aniston's love life.
“She did the exact same thing for Justin Theroux, and that relationship still ended in failure,” the insider noted.
"Jen can't pretend to change to meet Jim in the middle," the source continued.
"He has to do it for real, and it’s not a problem she can just throw money at to make it go away."
As the insider concluded, "For Jen and Jim to have a long-term future together, they’re both going to have to make huge sacrifices!"
