Andrew’s move from Royal Lodge gets even more complicated with new update
Andrew Mounbatten-Windsor makes things harder for Palace staff moving him out of Royal Lodge: Here’s how
With Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s move to Sandringham estate slated for October 2026, an insider has just come forward to reveal just how difficult his hoarding habits are making the upcoming move, especially on staff.
Celebrity news reporter Rob Shuter was the expert the source dished everything about his ‘hoarding’ tendencies to.
“He’s a natural hoarder” the source began by saying on Mr Shuter’s Substack. “Rooms are packed with papers, photographs, and personal collections. He wasn’t ready to accept help sorting through it.”
What is pertinent to mention is that this report acts as a follow up to the original claim where it was revealed that the rooms are filled floor to ceiling with photographs, documents and the like.
In order to wade through them at a faster rate the Palace’s staff have started with things “belong to the Windsor family, not Andrew” like priceless artworks and antique furniture.
Furthermore, at every step of the way there is another speed bump because “there’s an ongoing debate over what he personally owns versus what belongs to the Crown,” a separate source has revealed. “Every item must be logged carefully to avoid future disputes,” as well.
Before signing off the second source also clarified one thing regarding the move and that is that “he wasn’t pushed out – he was bought out” and as for clearing the property the added “this won’t be quick. With the hoarding and ownership issues, it’s going to take months.”
