Prince Harry, Meghan Markle make Christmas plans: ‘No past conflicts’
Insider reveals how Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will spend Christmas this year
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly planning a low-key Christmas at their Montecito home amid ongoing controversy around the Duchess of Sussex’s dad Thomas Markle Sr.
According to Radar Online, the Sussexes have decided to focus on a private celebration with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Harry and Meghan are expected to be joined by Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, while keeping the holiday limited to their immediate family.
"For Harry and Meghan, Christmas is about creating happiness and family memories for their children,” the insider said.
They added, “They have no intention of revisiting past conflicts or involving those who have brought pain. The priority is making it memorable for Archie and Lilibet."
A source said they have decided to maintain distance from estranged relatives, including Meghan’s father despite his recent health scare.
"Meghan has set clear boundaries – her father and other estranged family members will not be included," they said.
A family source also told the publication that Harry and Meghan's priority is their children on Christmas.
"The holidays are about togetherness and making lasting memories, and Harry and Meghan are entirely focused on ensuring their children have that experience this year," the source said.
