Meghan Markle's remarks about Prince Harry come under scanner
Questions have been raised regarding Meghan Markle's description of Prince Harry in a recent interview
In a recent interview, Meghan Markle described Prince Harry in a way that drew ire from a royal expert.
Her name is Jane Barr, the author of From Berkshire to Buckingham. She writes in her Substack, "I found her description of her husband to be truly bizarre and not a little sad."
The account, the expert further adds, makes it difficult to distinguish between Harry and their six-year-old son, Prince Archie.
"Meghan's description of Harry focuses solely on how he loves her, and, apparently, how much he likes to 'play and have fun.' Adding her description does not describe an "impressive, adult man."
Jane then compares how she would explain her relationship with her husband to the press. "If I were to describe my husband to a major media outlet, I would say, 'brilliant, strong, professionally aggressive (a huge virtue in a trial lawyer), and, of course, loving and gentle toward me.'"
"She could be describing Archie. Meghan's description does not describe an impressive, adult man," the expert notes.
The interview in question saw Meghan explaining her relationship with her husband, stating, "No one in the world loves me more than him, so I know he's always going to make sure that he has my back."
She continued, "You have someone who just has this childlike wonder and playfulness. I was so drawn to that, and he brought that out in me."
"That's translated into every part of our lives. Even in business, I want us to play and have fun and explore and be creative," the Suits star noted.
It is worth noting that the interview Meghan gave was for Harper's Bazaar.
