King Charles seems to still care deeply for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle despite their public attacks against the royal family since stepping back from duties in 2020.
An Instagram post on official page of the royal family featured Queen Camilla’s Christmas celebration at Clarence House.
In the video, a family photo was displayed showing Charles walking arm-in-arm with Meghan on her wedding day, after her father, Thomas Markle, was unable to attend, per OK! Magazine.
The existence of the photo shows Charles still craves for his son and daughter-in-law to return to the family fold despite the ongoing issues.
According to sources, Charles and Harry’s recent reunion in September, their first in 18 months, marked a positive step in rebuilding their relationship.
However, it caught Prince William by surprise with the source noting that the Prince of Wales would not have let it happen if he knew about the reunion.
"William thought his father was back in London strictly for cancer treatment and official audiences," the insider spilled to Rob Shuter's blog.
They added, "He had no idea Harry was on the schedule — and certainly wasn’t asked for input. If William had been consulted, he would have tried to block it."
"That’s why Charles went ahead quietly."
