Kim Cattrall marries Russell Thomas in intimate London ceremony
The couple first met in 2016 at the BBC
Kim Cattrall and Russell Thomas are officially married.
The Sex and the City star, 69, wed the audio engineer, 55, on Thursday in an intimate ceremony at Chelsea Old Town Hall in London with only 12 guests in attendance.
Cattrall wore a tailored Dior suit styled by longtime collaborator Patricia Field, paired with Cornelia James gloves and a Philip Treacy hat. Thomas opted for a custom Richard James suit.
The couple met in 2016 at the BBC after Cattrall appeared on Woman’s Hour. They followed each other on X shortly afterward, and he reached out via direct message—a moment she once described as “very modern.”
They stayed in touch, eventually leading Thomas to visit her in Vancouver.
In a June 2025 profile for The Times, Cattrall spoke fondly about her decade-long bond with Thomas. “We’ve been together almost ten years now… And we’ve had a blast. We’ve just had so much fun,” she said.
In a later interview with People, Cattrall added that the pair share a deep love of nature and a quieter life. She also described their home on Vancouver Island as “my hideaway and paradise.
On other instances, she's also praised Thomas in different interviews. “He’s had an incredibly interesting life and really done it on his terms. He’s a bit of a rebel, which I love,” she told The Times.
She also called him “a firecracker" and his "wicked sense of humour,” adding that “he’s easy on the eyes,” per People interview from 2020.
