Meghan Markle has officially added Chrissy Teigen to her inner circle, and a royal expert has dubbed it Hollywood’s most 'surprising' new friendship.
Royal expert Rob Shuter has claimed in his substack ShuterScoop that Meghan and Chrissy Teigen have grown “shockingly close”.
He claims Meghan and the outspoken model, 39, have grown “shockingly close,” bonding over motherhood, media pressure, and what one source calls “being dragged constantly by people who don’t know you.”
“Despite the controversy, Meghan has welcomed her with open arms,” Rob claims and added the pair have been spotted having private Montecito lunches and exchanging cheeky messages in celebrity mom chats.
“They get each other,” an insider says. “Chrissy is blunt, Meghan is honest — and neither of them trusts the media.”
The royal expert went on saying still, some in Meghan’s camp are nervous.
“Chrissy’s baggage is a PR minefield,” one insider warns. “But Meghan doesn’t care. She chooses real people over perfect ones.”
Rob Shuter made these claims days after he said reality queen Kim Kardashian and Meghan have cut ties.
Kim has cut ties with Meghan Markle, after what insiders are calling “a total vibe clash” at Kris Jenner’s star-studded 70th birthday bash — the same Bond-themed event where Harry and Meghan’s photos mysteriously disappeared from social media hours after being posted.
Rob, citing sources close to the Kardashian camp, said Kim was 'furious' when Meghan’s team requested that all pics of her and Harry be scrubbed from the internet.
“Kim doesn’t do take-backs,” says one Hollywood insider. “If you show up to a Kardashian production, you’re part of the machine. Meghan tried to rewrite the narrative — and Kim hated that.”
