Dax Shepard jokes Kristen Bell’s success means he no longer hangs Christmas lights

Dax Shepard’s wife, Kristen Bell, has a hit career. This success, he jokes, changed their holiday decorating.

His comments follow the host, Jimmy Kimmel, asking him whether he himself puts up Christmas lights at home. “I did,” he says, joking, “and then my wife made too much money and now I don’t.”

The remark, though said in a lighter mood, is a nod to Kristen’s recent success found in Netflix’s comedy show Nobody Wants This.

In other news, Kristen, who plays Anna in the Frozen franchise, shares that work on the third movie will start soon.

“That’s all I can say. I’m under lock and key,” the actress tells Variety, referring to the screenplay she saw.

Further, the star says the production is at an early stage of the movie, as “It’s all mostly like concept stuff in the beginning like, ‘Here’s where we think it should go.’”

She continues, That’s the one great thing about Disney is it goes through a thousand filters, not to be diplomatic, but because everyone’s going to add something different."

“That’s why the movies plays so well because they hit every single mark because nothing has been missed,” she concludes.

Frozen 3 will hit the cinemas in 2027.
