Nicole Kidman finds comfort in Hugh Jackman’s ex after shocking split
Deborra-Lee Furness offers support to Nicole Kidman after she parts ways with Keith Urban
Hugh Jackman’s ex Deborra-Lee Furness has recently come out in support of Nicole Kidman after she filed for divorce from Keith Urban in late September.
According to Radar Online, Deb and Nicole, both founds themselves in the same boat after their split from their former partners.
A source close to the Babygirl actress spilled to the outlet, “When everything went down between Deb and Hugh, Nicole was careful not to turn her back on her and now Deb has really stepped up to support her.”
For those unversed, the actress and Debora-Lee have reportedly been friends for almost four decades and they often double-dated with their former husbands.
“It makes sense, since Deb was blindsided when Hugh left and felt very alone in the wake of it all. She's the type to want to save a friend from the same fate,” explained an insider.
Another tipster revealed that Deborra-Lee has been supporting Nicole throughout her split process so that she doesn’t feel alone.
“Nicole isn't going to cut Hugh out of her life, but it's safe to say that her loyalty is with Deb now,” said an insider.
Some friends told the outlet that Deborra-Lee, who was married to Hugh for 27 years, and Nicole, who was with Keith for 19, both believed that their “marriages would last forever”.
For now, the source added that Deborra-Lee is there for Nicole and vice versa.
“Deb has even offered to be roomies again if Nicole needs company while she sorts through her feelings,” concluded an insider.
