Prince William showed his loyalty and support to his father King Charles as he entrusted him with an important task ahead of the key event.
The Prince of Wales had joined the King and Queen Camilla for the annual Diplomatic Reception at Windsor Castle on Tuesday ahead of another crucial event.
Kensington Palace had released its first statement after the monarch and his heir made an appearance, proving a strong alliance between the two as they herald major changes for the royal family’s future.
“A pleasure to join Their Majesties welcoming guests from the diplomatic community for the annual Diplomatic Corps Reception at Windsor Castle last night,” the statement read alongside photo from the event.
The white tie event is a main ambassadorial social event of the year in London and this year, 900 diplomats were in attendance, including ambassadors, high commissioners and their partners.
There were around 600 foreign diplomats based in London were among the guests together with around 300 British diplomats and senior figures from commerce, education, broadcasting and the arts.
The selection of the images from the reception appeared to be deliberate, seemingly dismissing any notion of a clash between the two.
The update also comes amid speculation that Charles and William are discussing the possibility of Prince Harry’s return to the UK, especially as the King is currently in the middle of a reconcilation with his younger son.
Royal experts believe that while the King holds a soft spot for Harry, he will not take a decision that would upset William in the process, Hence, it appears that the two are now discussing a middle-ground for Harry after deciding the fate of the disgraced Andrew.
