Cristiano Ronaldo to meet Trump as Saudi Crown Prince MBS arrives in US
Cristiano Ronaldo might face a ban for the first FIFA World Cup 2026 match
United States (U.S.) President Donald Trump is expected to host the Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo at the White House on Tuesday, November 18, 2025.
The leading goal scorer of all time will visit White House on the same day that Saudi Crown Prince, Muhammad Bin Salman, is set to visit the U.S. for the first time since 2018.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), White House correspondent for MSNOWNews, Jake Traylor wrote, “According to three White House officials, Trump is expected to host soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo at White House on Tuesday.”
The five-time Ballon D’or winner currently plays for Al-Nassr club in Saudi Pro League.
Ronaldo fans appeared delighted as one replied to Traylor’s post, writing, “Ain’t no way GOAT is getting invited to the White House. They probably think he is the president of Portugal.”
Another wrote, “Ronaldo visiting Trump is fine, but if I see that man hit ‘Siuuuuu' in the Oval Office, I am deleting my whole phone.”
White House has neither confirmed nor denied Ronaldo’s rumoured visit. The news comes after the 40-year-old recently received the first-ever red card of his international career spanning over two decades.
The legendary player might face a ban for the first FIFA World Cup 2026 match if Portugal qualifies.
