YouTube star MrBeast debuts theme park in Saudi Arabia: Watch
‘Beast Land’ features obstacle course-like challenges shown in his popular videos
MrBeast, YouTube megastar with over 450 million subscribers, launched a temporary theme park modelled on his videos in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Thursday.
After Cristiano Ronaldo, MrBeast is the latest celebrity who has brought the talent and entertainment to Saudi Arabia.
Being debuted as a “Beast Land”, the theme park features obstacle course-like challenges shown in his popular videos. Thousands of families and teenagers gathered at the venue to meet the most followed YouTuber.
"The majority of our audience is outside of North America and we have a large concentration of people who watch our videos in the Middle East," MrBeast told AFP.
"A lot of times when we do stuff, we do it in the West or in other places and I just really wanted to do something fun for our fans who live around here," he added.
The general admission will cost around $7 (no rides). The Beast mod, including three rides or challenges will cost around $25. In the Beast Mode+, full access will be given for $66.
The participant with the highest score will win $1866 (7000 riyals) and the participant with the best overall score will get $266,645 (1 million riyals).
MrBeast’s theme park will be scheduled to open until December 27, 2025 as a part of Riyadh Season.
The annual festival is launched to promote tourism in the capital city and diversify its oil-dependent economy.
