King Charles buys new estate for Andrew
King Charles showcases Sandringham’s peaceful perfection
King Charles appears to be tidying up more than just palace paperwork and he’s found a new home for his embattled brother, Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, on the King’s own beloved Sandringham estate.
The Duke who will be vacating Royal Lodge in Windsor is expected to settle into his new Norfolk abode by 2026.
And in a move that feels like part royal relocation, part PR refresh, the King’s team has released a glossy new video showcasing the sprawling grounds that Andrew will soon call home.
The clip, posted on Sandringham’s official channels, offers a serene glimpse of life on the estate all 600 acres of manicured gardens nestled within a jaw-dropping 20,000 acres of royal parkland.
Overlaid text invites viewers to join in the charm, “Wandering through the royal parkland.”
The camera drifts through autumnal woodlands, past dappled sunlight and winding paths, even pausing to reveal an impressive children’s playpark perhaps a nod to more family friendly times ahead
The caption accompanying the clip read, “Nothing beats a wander through The Royal Parkland this November. Come and see the season changing as you explore new paths and discover beautiful spots in the woodlands.”
After the King’s team dropped a glossy new video of the Norfolk grounds on Instagram, fans were quick to flood the comments with praise.
“I do [walk] every day and thoroughly enjoy it with my dogs. It’s a privilege to be able to do this and right on my doorstep too,” wrote one local.
Another added, “One of our favourite walks,” while a third simply reminisced “Beautiful memories.”
According to Hello!, Sandringham tops the list of regal retreats.
“It’s easy to see why the royal family treasure it so much,” royal insider shared. “There’s a sense of peace and quiet that makes it feel like a private home.
