Jonathan Bailey breaks silence on 'Batman' casting rumours

Jonathan Bailey has finally responded about the fancasting going around him about playing the comic book hero Batman in James Gunn’s DCU.

The 59-year-old has already confirmed a Batman movie from his DC universe, which he had named as, The Brave and The Bold.

However, he has not still decided upon an actor who will be playing the titular role.

But many fans have been sharing their ideas regarding actors who would be perfect for the role. Some of the fans casting includes names like Alan Ritchson, Robert Pattinson, Brandon Sklenar, Henry Cavill and Jonathan Bailey.

Jonathan Baily reacts to Batman fancasting:

The Wicked star, who had just been named as the "People’s Sexiest Man Alive 2025", appeared on the Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show, he shared his thoughts about all the fancasting going around him.

During the chat, the 37-year-old said, “Would I do Batman? I grew up with Val Kilmer, George Clooney, obviously Christian Bale, and Robert Pattinson."

While admitted that playing the DC hero is a legacy, Bailey shared who knows that he might be play it someday.

“I think James Gunn is amazing. Who knows”, added the Bridgerton star.

So far, there is no confirmation about the casting of Batman in The Brave and The Bold as the makers have not yet started that process.
