Will Prince Harry face the same fate as Andrew?

King Charles appears to have shocked the public and his own members of the family by the bold step he has take against his brother Andrew, after speculations of his weakened stance swirled in reports.

On Thursday, Buckingham Palace confirmed that not only is the Prince title stripped from the shamed royal but formal process to remove him from Royal Lodge has also begun. The series of actions have left some concerns for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, all the way in Montecito.

Previously, there had been calls to remove the titles of Prince Harry and Meghan after they bad-mouthed the royal family in public. Despite the magnitude of the recent events, experts believe that King is not going to take a harsh step against his younger son.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex still hold the favour of the public and Andrew’s reputation was buried far deep into the ground when his friendship with Jeffery Epstein was exposed and he had to make an out-of-court settlement with his accuser late Virginia Giuffre.

According to expert Nick Ede, should the King decide to give Harry and Meghan the same treatment as Andrew, it would “backfire”.

“They still hold a great deal of public affection, particularly among younger and international audiences,” he told Express.co.uk.

He explained that move would appear “vindictive and reopen old wounds just as the monarchy seems to be finding its footing again”.

It is important to note that Harry and Meghan’s supposed crimes are just complains about how they were treated by the royals. Meanwhile, Andrew faces multiple accusations of supporting human trafficking, sexual assault of a minor, shady business deals and his infamous involvement with the ‘Chinese spy’.

Harry bemoaned about being a ‘spare’ to his brother Prince William and his Pa not hugging him while breaking the heartbreaking news of their mother’s death.

Nick suggested that the two are “totally different” because with Andrew it shows value of responsibility and the consequence of actions. Harry and Meghan, who have resorted to focus on important causes and working on their independent life, still have a significant public support.

In some ways, Harry had even earned the favour of British press with his charity works during his September visit to the UK. Hence, it would seem awfully unfair and a fool’s move to strike Harry and Meghan just now.
