Oscar Isaac gushes over 'Frankenstein' star Jacob Elordi
Frankenstein actor Oscar Isaac has recently expressed his admiration for costar Jacob Elordi.
The actor, who plays the role of Victor in Guillermo del Toro’s adaptation of the classic horror novel, shared his experience working with Kissing Booth actor on a movie set.
“Jacob plays The Creature and what he does in this movie is so heartbreaking,” said the 46-year-old while speaking on Today show.
Dune actor revealed that the “second Jacob walked on a set,” he recalled the Priscilla actor “walking kind of fingers first”.
The reason, Oscar shared, is what the Saltburn actor “does is so graceful and unusual and incredibly heartbreaking”.
“I think people watching, they are mesmerised by what he’s done,” explained the Moon Knight actor.
Oscar further said that for “such a young actor to have so much poise and discipline” it’s really impressive.
Meanwhile, the actor was Guillermo’s first choice for Victor character before a screenplay.
In another interview with Variety, Oscar disclosed that he felt the pressure in bringing the director’s passion project to life.
“It’s passion. I think passion is everything in this movie,” he told the outlet.
The actor stated, “Guillermo is a very passionate, joyous, funny, warm person, and mischievous as well. So, that was kind of an infectious energy throughout.”
“It’s this very European story, but told through a very Latin-American, Mexican, Catholic point-of-view. So, it was just high passion all the time,” he added.
