China is outpacing the United States in the robotics race. The East Asian powerhouse has hosted the world's first Robo Olympics and has also unveiled several stores selling humanoid robots.
A China-based tech-company has once again taken the lead and unveiled possibly the most-agile humanoid robot till date.
Unitree Robotics has designed its robot “Destiny Awakening” in human-like form to perform both household and industrial tasks with extreme agility.
Destiny Awakening was unveiled on Monday, October 20, 2025. It is 180 cm tall and weighs around 70 kilograms. The company states, “The H2 bionic humanoid - born to serve everyone safely and in a friendly manner.”
In a video shared on YouTube, the robot can be seen performing several dance moves, extreme mixed martial arts kicks and punches and walking on a ramp all dressed up as a fashion icon accompanied by human models, with extreme flexibility and agility.
AI models are used in humanoid robots to plan actions, perceive the environment and autonomously perform complex tasks.
This allows them to perform tasks such as picking up objects, transporting containers, and moving with human-like precision.
