'The Boys' finale trailer: Homelander vs Butcher promised absolute carnage
'The Boys' final episode trailer prepares viewers for an all-out war
The Boys are heading to an explosive finale as the last trailer suggests.
In the endgame, Billy Butcher, played by Karl Urban, is preparing his team to give-it-all.
The Boys' fight against Homelander is reaching a fever pitch, as the first look at the finale shows.
With the episode, titled Blood and Bone, an all-out war is expected.
"Can't show you much without spoiling the whole kit and caboodle," the show's official account said.
"But on Wednesday, we're going all the way. No matter the cost. "Til the job's f***ing done."
'The Boys' boss terrified of finale
However, as the finale is ending close, there are fears in The Boys team, particularly creator Eric Kripke.
"I am in a fair amount of terror about a series finale," he said earlier.
"You can count in one, maybe two hands, the truly great series finales."
Then, Kripke pointed to a series of hit shows whose ending became divisive among fans.
"The graveyard is literally filled with terrible series finales," the creator shared on Sony’s Creator to Creator podcast.
“I am in a fair amount of terror about a series finale,” he confessed.
The Boys will first hit cinemas on May 19 and the streamer on May 20.
