Jennifer Lopez issued her first statement after her ex-husband Ben Affleck praised her at the premiere of her upcoming musical, Kiss of the Spider Woman.

The glitzy event, which saw two former lovers posing together for the cameras, took place in New York City on Monday, October 6.

Lopez shared a series of stunning photos from her film's premiere, featuring herself, her two children, twins Maximilian "Max" David Muniz and Emme Maribel Muniz, and her co-star Tonatiuh.

Affleck, with whom she shared a number of delightful moments, was not where to be seen in her carousel.
