Meghan Markle awkward moment at Paris Fashion Week caught on camera

Meghan Markle made her debut at Paris Fashion Week on Saturday in a chic white ensemble to support her fashion designer pal Pierpaolo Piccioli.

The Duchess of Sussex, who stepped out solo for the glitzy affair, also found herself in a rather unglamorous awkward moment, which was caught on camera.

While greeting the newly-appointed creative director at Balenciaga, Pierpaolo, Meghan narrowly avoided an accidental kiss as the two appeared confused in an odd manoeuvre. They had leaned in to hug each other, but ended up butting heads.

Fully aware of the cameras on them, the two played it off cool and laughed while posing for a photo. She then said goodbye to the designer and moved ahead.

This wasn’t all, Meghan had also had a seemingly not-so-pleasant run-in with Anna Wintour. The Duchess has proclaimed to be a “hugger” several times in the past, but Anna seemed to have delivered a subtle blow to her during the interaction.

As Meghan went into hug the fashion icon, she was quickly directed to the person next to her to greet. Anna maintained distance to from Prince Harry’s wife in the whole interaction.

The moment was also caught on video and one fan on X suggested that Anna’s message was clear to Meghan, “don’t touch me”.
