Meghan Markle keeps low profile in Britain as Prince Harry makes another solo appearance

Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex is not joining Prince Harry at his latest London appearance.

The wife of the Duke of Sussex is reportedly staying out of the public eye following the family's return to the UK.

As Harry is scheduled to present the Inspirational Child award for children aged 4-6 and deliver a speech at the WellChild Awards in London on September 21, his wife Meghan will not be attending the event.

It marks another major appearance by the youngest son of Prince Harry since he and Meghan returned to Britain with their children, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5. This means, the Duchess of Sussex is yet to make an official appearance since the family's return to the UK.

For those unaware, Prince Harry has maintained a connection with WellChild for years, becoming a patron of the charity in 2007 and attending 15 of its ceremonies. Meghan Markle previously accompanied him to the awards in 2018 and 2019.

It is pertinent to mention that the Duchess also skipped Harry’s first public event following the family’s return: the Invictus Spirit Gala Dinner and Awards in London on September 17.

People Magazine reported that insiders claim Meghan is focused on helping the couple's children Archie and Lilibet settle into their new life in Britain. They have begun attending school in the UK and reportedly switched schools after two days because of security and logistical concerns surrounding their commute.
