Prince Harry appears in London after Charles Spencer demands security for him and Meghan

Prince Harry on Monday attended the WellChild Awards in London as the British media discussed the contents of his uncle Charles Spencer’s new book on Diana and its impact on the royal family, especially King Charles III.

The Duke of Sussex was all smiles as he arrived at the event.

“As he stepped out of his car, the Duke of Sussex was met with several questions about his family, including whether he had spoken to his father, King Charles, in recent days,” wrote Hello!

However, the younger son of the monarch parried the questions like he was unable to hear.

Harry's WellChild charity supports and honours seriously-ill children and those who care for them.

His latest appearances comes after Charles Spencer said Prince Harry, and his Meghan should be given official security as they are now treated by the media much in the same way as his late sister was ‌in the years leading up to her death.

Diana died aged 36 in a 1997 Paris car crash as photographers pursued her on motorbikes, sparking an outpouring of grief and a reckoning over whether the media bore some responsibility after it splashed details of her life across front pages for years.

Charles Spencer was speaking as he prepared to publish his book about Diana, which has been highly critical of her former husband, the now-King Charles, and after Harry and Meghan returned to live in Britain six years after they quit royal duties and moved to the US.
