Tesla launches official 'TeslaAI' Weibo account to showcase AI products
'Tesla AI' will include AI products like Tesla humanoid robots, intelligence assisted driving, Robotaxi and the Cortex computing cluster
Tesla has officially launched its official Artificial intelligence (AI) account on social media site Weibo on September 7, 2025.
The Tech giant has launched the official Weibo account named as “Tesla AI”, verified as the company’s official channel.
This specific account is designed to introduce various AI-related products, including Tesla humanoid robots, intelligent assisted driving, Robotaxi autonomous ridesharing cars, and the Cortex computing cluster.
Moreover, the first post on Tesla AI official account primarily shows the design of the Tesla humanoid robot.
The official account showcases the robot, featuring the Tesla logo, sports a light gold and black color scheme, reminiscent of the previously revealed "Optimus 3" humanoid robot.
The first two posts on the "Tesla AI" account, unveiled on Sunday, featured images and video of the Optimus robots in action.
According to its introduction, the account will also showcase Tesla’s advances in autonomous driving, driverless ride-hailing and its Cortex supercomputer.
As reported, Tesla released two photos of the humanoid robot, captioned: "I have been working hard to improve my physique”.
As of Tuesday September 9, 2025, TeslaAI had gained more than 12,000 followers.
“Tesla likely hopes to capitalize on its brand name to break into the crowded humanoid robot sector,” said Paul Triolo, a partner at Albright Stonebridge Group.
“The account suggests that Tesla is beginning to lay the groundwork for a major push into China for its humanoid robots over the next three to five years”.
