'The Summer I Turned Pretty' sparks fan Zayn Malik fans into a frenzy
Zayn Malik fans went wild after his surprise appearance in The Summer I Turned Pretty Season three, but not in the way one might expect.
While the former One Direction star didn’t make a physical appearance in the hit series, his vocals did in the third season of episode seven titled "Last Hurrah."
A scene from the episode shows the boys, including Jeremiah and Steven, rehearsing a wedding dance as part of Belly and Jeremiah's bachelorette party celebrations.
The moment takes place at the Cousins Beach house, where both the bridal party and the groomsmen are seen practicing their choreographed routines.
In the clip, the boys groove to Zayn’s song Let Me, a fan-favorite single from his 2018 album Icarus Falls.
The cameo moment of Zayn’s music quickly sparked fan reactions across platforms like Reddit and TikTok.
One viewer gushed, "Now that’s what I call good boy band choreography."
Another added, "Conrad is so Zayn dancing at X Factor–coded. In the best way possible."
A third fan admitted, "I almost fell off my couch when this came on my TV."
In addition to Zayn’s Let Me feature, the episode also included several other standout songs in its soundtrack, including Juno by Sabrina Carpenter, Typa Girl by BLACKPINK, Girl, So Confusing (feat. Lorde) by Charli XCX, We Can’t Be Friends by Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift’s Robin and Loml.
