Vladimir Putin goes viral for making confused and strange facial expressions during his meeting with Donald Trump at the Alaska Summit.

This highly-anticipated one-on-one meeting between the Russian President and U.S. President occurred after seven years to discuss the Russian-Ukraine war.

During the press talk with journalists on August 15, what particularly caught attention were Putin’s unusual and confused facial expression, demonstrating the blend of perplexing look, tightened brows and quizzical stares.

The strange facial expressions came in response to the questions that were asked in English about the Ukraine war. The Russian president brushed off the questions with his bewildered looks.

The bizarre expressions took the internet by storm as many users turned them into memes.

The much-touted Alaska Summit came to end with no fruitful outcome regarding the ceasefire in the Ukraine war.

These peace talks come in the midst of growing reservations from Europe and Ukraine. According to the U.S. Defence Intelligence Agency, around 700,000 civilians have been killed.

The conflict started on February 24, 2022 and is still ongoing till now with no significant agreement on a ceasefire.
