Kajol draws parallels between Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan's 'star power'
Kajol candidly reveals on-set experience with Salman Khan
Kajol recently opened up about her experience working with Salman Khan, stating that “you can’t touch his star power.”
The Kuch Kuch Hota Hai duo garnered widespread recognition for their roles as Anjali Sharma and Aman Mehra in the 1998 family-romance film.
In an exclusive conversation with Galatta India, the 50-year-old actress spoke about the Sultan actor.
She said, “As far as their work is concerned, I think Salman is Salman Khan. We can't argue with that. Salman Khan has remained Salman Khan through the years, which I think is amazing. Sheer star power, I think Akshay Kumar will also agree, you can’t touch Salman’s star power.”
Later in the interview, Kajol also drew comparisons between the three Khans of Bollywood.
She explained, “I think Shah Rukh and Aamir are very professional. Salman is very professional, but Shah Rukh and Aamir they have been the trophy. Both have won trophies for professional. But I'll say to compare not to themselves, also to compare to the film industry, they are very professional in every which way.”
On the professional front, the Do Patti actress is currently gearing up for her upcoming film, Maa.
The project, which stars Ronit Roy, Indraneil Sengupta, and Kerin Sharma, is slated for release on June 27.
