Kajol recalls balancing work, motherhood amid Deepika Padukone dispute
Kajol recently broke her silence on Deepika Padukone’s ongoing dispute with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga while promoting her upcoming film Maa.
The Dilwale actress, who is mother to two – daughter Nysa and son Yug – also opened up about balancing her work and personal life.
In an exclusive conversation, the Bollywood star said, “I didn’t work for 20 or 30 hours. I was always very clear that we would work a certain amount only.”
The Kuch Kuch Hota Hai actress took a trip down memory lane and recalled her experience shooting U Me Aur Hum, when her father was in the hospital and her daughter was just two years old.
Later in the interview, the 50-year-old revealed that her husband, Ajay Devgn, has been very supportive, and the filmmakers she has worked with were very “understanding”.
Speaking to the outlet, she said, “He worked around it to make sure that I went home early, so I could go to the hospital. So, we managed that work-life balance, as you put it.”
On the professional front, Kajol, 50, is currently on a promotional spree for Vishal Furia’s upcoming directorial.
Maa, starring Kajol, Ronit Roy, Indraneil Sengupta, Jitin Gulati, Gopal Singh, and more, is produced by Ajay Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande, and Kumar Mangat Pathak.
The much-awaited mythological horror drama is slated for release on June 27.
