Kajol's honest take on parenting wins hearts

Kajol is offering an inside glimpse into her parenting style as she redefines her bond with her kids.

The Do Patti actress, who shares daughter Nysa and son Yug with actor Ajay Devgn, opened up to Pinkvilla in an exclusive interview.

In response to a question about her relationship with her kids, Kajol elaborated on her parenting style, including her kids' reactions when she comes home after a long day.

She told the outlet, “They are both my children, I want to tell you that. "Ajay Devgn isn't present on stage. So they are both, honestly, they are my kids, they are his kids, they are our kids. And I am very proud to say that they are very much their own people.”

The actress shared that despite her pride in her children, her top parenting lesson has been teaching them to prioritize their own well-being.

In addition, she revealed how they react when she returns home, adding, "When I reach home, my kids are more like 'Mumma' ‘why didn't you do this and why didn't you do that’ starts up. The minute I see them, I am only mom. There's no other character that I can play at that point of time.”

On professional front, the actress is currently gearing up for her upcoming film Maa, which is slated to release on June 27.
