'General Hospital' star Steve Burton ties the knot in intimate ceremony

General Hospital star Steve Burton and content creator Michelle Lundstrom began the next chapter of their love story by exchanging vows over the weekend.

The actor, best known for his role as Jason Morgan on the hit medical drama, officially tied the knot with the chef on Saturday, May 17, in an intimate Orthodox church ceremony attended by immediate family only.

However, after the church ceremony, the pair hosted an ultra-exclusive oceanfront reception at Montage Laguna Beach for 45 guests from their inner circle, as per People, including a few friends from General Hospital.

The soap opera heartthrob reflected on the big day, telling the magazine, "This day isn’t just about a ceremony. It’s the beginning of forever with the love of my life."

It’s worth noting that the newly married couple’s children from their previous relationships also joined to make their respective parents' special day more memorable.

Lundstrom, who appeared on Netflix's Barbecue Showdown 2, is a mother to two daughters, 14-year-old Lilah and 10-year-old Hannah, from her previous relationship.

The two girls attended the wedding party alongside their new step siblings: Burton's three children, Makena, 21, son Jack, 19, and Brooklyn, 10.

Notably, among other guests were General Hospital stars Jonathan Jackson and his wife Lisa Vultaggio.

Burton's best friend, Jeremy Ross, served as his best man. Meanwhile, the bride's sister, Janine, was her maid of honour
