Justin Bieber is back in the spotlight—and this time, it’s for cheering on his favorite hockey team, not internet rumors. The 31-year-old pop star made a surprise public appearance with wife Hailey Bieber on Sunday, May 18, during the Stanley Cup playoffs at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena, looking all smiles as the Toronto Maple Leafs faced off against the Florida Panthers.
The couple’s night out comes just days after Justin’s rep firmly shut down swirling online speculation that he was involved in any way with the ongoing legal case surrounding Sean “Diddy” Combs.
In a statement shared to Us Weekly on May 15, the rep clarified, “Although Justin is not among Sean Combs’ victims, there are individuals who were genuinely harmed by him. Shifting focus away from this reality detracts from the justice these victims rightfully deserve.”
So, with the record set straight, Justin did what any proud Canadian would do—head to a playoff game.
Caught on camera by Sportsnet, the singer was seen vibing to the arena tunes, grinning ear to ear, and sharing some cozy moments with Hailey, 28, by his side.
The couple made sure to document the outing too.
Justin shared a behind-the-scenes look on his Instagram Stories, posting a video of Hailey strutting down a hallway ahead of the game. He even gave fans a glimpse of their seats, posting a snap to his main grid with the caption, “Made it into the building,” and tagging Hailey.
Hailey, never one to miss an aesthetic moment, reposted Justin’s photo of her back to her own Instagram Stories.
She also gave a close-up view of the action, snapping a photo of Maple Leafs stars Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner seated just a few rows in front of them.
Married since 2018 and now proud parents to 7-month-old son Jack Blues, the Biebers seem to be taking life in stride—whether it’s parenting duties, public statements, or playoff hockey.
