Barry Keoghan collaborates with The Weeknd, Jenne Ortega in 'Hurry Up Tomorrow'
Saltburn famed Barry Keoghan has exclusively spoken about his complexed childhood.
The actor opened about losing his mother at an early age due to drug addiction and living in foster homes as a child.
In a recent interview, the 32-year-old visited his hometown in Dublin and reminisced the days he lived back as a kid.
During the chat, Barry shared that he not only lost his mother but also two uncles and a cousin due to drug addiction.
“That should be enough to go, “OK, if I dabble here, I’m f*****.”
“But your curiosity is a powerful thing. Sometimes it’s beneficial and sometimes it’s detrimental. For me, it was detrimental.”
The Dunkirk star revealed that even the birth of his son, Brando in 2022 did not 'stop him from being curious'.
He explained to Hollywood Authentic, “You go to LA, you go to Hollywood, wherever the big scene is. There’s an enormous amount of pressure, and a different lifestyle that is good and bad for you.
“You’re around the scene. You just happen to be the one that ends up doing it.”
But Keoghan has insisted that he is at peace now and takes responsibility of everything he did.
At present, the Irish actor is busy promoting his new film Hurry Up Tomorrow alongside Jenna Ortega and The Weeknd.
