Aamir Khan is mourning the loss of legendary make-up artist Vikram Gaikwad as he passes away at the age of 65.
The Sitaare Zameen Par actor, who worked with the late artist on iconic films like Dangal, PK, and Rang De Basanti, took to Instagram to pay tribute in a heart-breaking post.
Describing Gaikwad as a “true master of his craft,” Khan wrote in the caption, “It is with great sorrow that we say goodbye to the legendary make-up artist Vikram Gaikwad.
“I had the pleasure of working with him in films like Dangal, PK, and Rang De Basanti, to name a few. He was a true master of his craft and his work transformed many actors into unforgettable characters that will live forever on screen.
“Heartfelt condolences to the family from me, and everyone at AKP.”
The late artist was known in the world of Indian cinema for his exceptional magic in both Bollywood and regional industries.
