Salman Khan gears up for another project after 'Sikandar' setback
Salman Khan is currently juggling multiple projects, as he is reportedly gearing up for a war drama film.
The Dabangg star, who recently appeared alongside Rashmika Mandanna in Sultan, is set to return to the big screen once again.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Salman was offered several scripts by directors Ali Abbas Zafar and Kabir Khan. However, he chose a film centered on the clash between Indian and Chinese forces in Ladakh in June 2020.
A source close to the development told Pinkvilla, that the much-awaited project will reportedly be directed by Apoorva Lakhia, who has garnered recognition for his work on Shootout at Lokhandwala, Mission Istanbul, and Zanjeer.
Meanwhile, the Kick actor has sparked speculation about Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2 following his recent meeting with screenwriter V. Vijayendra Prasad.
Speaking at the Ruslaan press meet in June 2024, Vijendra said, “Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2 script is ready. Needs to find some time to narrate it to Salman Bhai, the hero. Then we will see what happens.”
This update comes shortly after the underperformance of Sikandar, directed by A.R. Murugadoss, which fell short of the success achieved by Tiger 3.
