Veteran Indian actress Zeenat Aman, who has been quite an active user of social media, was witnessed being absent from the internet for some days.
She often used to drop stories about her film journey or motivational posts on Instagram.
Earlier today, the 73-year-old finally shared with her fans and followers why was she away from the platform.
Taking it to her IG, Aman dropped a few pictures from the hospital bed updating fans about her prolonged absence.
"I won’t blame you for thinking I’ve abandoned my social media aspirations. My profile has after all been quite silent and half-hearted off late”, she wrote.
Zeenat mentioned that as she was undergoing some medical procedure, she could not give time to her social media.
But now, she is back and feeling even more inspired to continue story telling on Instagram.
She wrote, “The drudgery of paperwork and the anxiety of a pending medical procedure have kept me preoccupied these past few weeks.”
“But, now that I am emerging on the other side of this experience, I’m feeling inspired to continue storytelling on Instagram.”
The Don actress concluded her lengthy note by sending hugs and good wishes to all her admirers.
