Kate Middleton gains an edge on Meghan Markle: 'Duchess setback'

Meghan Markle experienced a significant setback as a well-known Hollywood star snubbed her request for Kate Middleton's support.

As per Kinsey Schofield, a renowned royal expert, the Duchess of Sussex expressed her desire to invite Reese Witherspoon to her podcast, Archetypes before her Spotify deal fell out.

On a YouTube channel, Andrew Gold & Kinsey Schofield, she said, "I heard rumours that Meghan was trying to get Reese Witherspoon on Archetypes, Reese Witherspoon politely declined."

The royal commentator shared, "I heard it through the grapevine that it's because Reese Witherspoon loves the Princess of Wales, loves Catherine and didn't want to do anything to jeopardise any sort of social clout she has with Catherine, the future Queen."

It is important to note that the former Suits also making an effort to approach Reese's close pal Jennifer Aniston in her new podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder.

According to US Express, an insider shared, "Meghan is hoping Jen will be there for her – as soon as possible – as a guest. Meghan knows she needs a major A-list name to bounce back fast after such a mixed start."

However, neither Sussex nor Aniston has confirmed this information.
