Lil Nas X brings party to the air with high-energy performance
Lil Nas X's pre-show dance practice on JetBlue flight was just the beginning
Lil Nas X took his performance to new heights - literally.
The rapper was spotted practicing his dance moves on a JetBlue flight from LAX to New York City the day before his show at the Box.
A source on the flight revealed that Lil Nas X was dressed in a pink cowboy hat, pink jacket, and pink carry-on bag, "wearing his AirPods and clearly listening to something fun."
The rapper was seen dancing in the aisle while waiting to get to his seat, "doing the arm movements and all."
The next day, Lil Nas X took the stage at the Box, a hip Downtown club known for its edgy burlesque shows, during a party for clothing site Vestiaire Collective.
Guests included model and nightlife icon Amanda Lepore, Nineties Club Kid Richie Rich, and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Brookes Nader.
He arrived at the venue in a pink Jeep and was joined on stage by several backup dancers in pink shorts and midriff hoodies who twerked beside him.
The rapper encouraged the crowd to let loose, saying, "Everybody, on a serious note: Let your f_cking hair down, have some f_cking fun."
"We don't know how much time we have left on earth," Lil Nas X continued. "Dance, be free, get drunk, do drugs and all that other cool shit."
After the performance, Lil Nas X hung out at the spot with an entourage wearing outfits ranging from pink mesh shirts and thongs to pink chaps.
The party continued with people dancing and throwing around beach balls.
