Rakesh Roshan goes down memory lane and candidly shares his experience shooting Khoon Bhari Maang.
The Indian filmmaker, who directed the action/thriller film, revealed that he was warned against casting Rekha in the project.
During an exclusive conversation with ANI, the Krrish director mentioned that the Bollywood actress was accused of being unpunctual and throwing tantrums.
Speaking exclusively to the outlet, he said, “People were telling me, 'You’re making a film, but Rekha neither arrives on time nor stays; she just runs off”.
In addition, the Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai director shared that he addressed these rumours directly with the Nagin actress.
The 70-year-old star dismissed all the allegations and reassured Roshan, stating that she only troubled those who were not punctual with payments.
Rekha, who garnered recognition for her performance in Umrao Jaan, played the role of Aarti Saxena in the film.
Khoon Bhari Maang, starring Rekha, Kabir Bedi, and Sonu Walia, was released in 1988.
For the unversed, the 75-year-old filmmaker later recast the Silsila actress as Sonia Mehra in his sci-fi/action film Koi Mil Gaya.
