Actress Pooja Bhatt has voiced her concerns about the growing lawlessness in Mumbai, particularly in the Bandra neighbourhood, following the horrifying attack on actor Saif Ali Khan at his home.
To protect the city's citizens, Pooja Bhatt took to social media to call on authorities to act quickly and boost police presence.
In her tweet, Pooja said, "Can this lawlessness please be curbed @MumbaiPolice @CPMumbaiPolice. We need more police presence in Bandra. The city & especially the queen of the suburbs, have never felt so unsafe before."
Pooja Bhatt expressed her worries about the increasing sense of fear by tagging important political figures, such as Ashish Shelar, Eknath Shinde, Ajit Pawar, and Devendra Fadnavis.
"Kind Attention @ShelarAshish @mieknathshinde @AjitPawarSpeaks @Dev_Fadnavis," she added, urging more attention to the issue."
Following the shocking attack on Saif Ali Khan, which sparked widespread concern and raised questions about safety in certain city areas, she shared her thoughts.
Jr. NTR, who costarred with Saif Ali Khan in Devara: Part 1, was also surprised and worried about the situation.
Taking to Twitter, he wrote, "Shocked and saddened to hear about the attack on Saif sir. Wishing and praying for his speedy recovery and good health."
