Kristen Bell gives nod to 'Wicked' on Christmas
Kristen Bell decorates her Christmas tree with a flair
Kristen Bell, American actress who is known for her creative decorations, unveiled her family's Christmas Eve tree.
On December 25th, the Gossip Girl actress shared a post on her Instagram featuring the Wicked and the classic The Wizard of Oz, inspired tree.
In the photo, the tree had a yellow brick road leading up to it and the iconic ruby heels peaking out of it.
The tree was donned in red and pink baubles and pink ribbon with two toppers that appeared to be the two lead characters of the movie.
One topper featured Glinda in her staple pink dress along with angel wings, while the other one showed Elphaba, dressed in her green robe with matching angle wings and black pointy witch hat.
The gifts placed under the tree were also wrapped in green, pink and red wrapping giving nod to the movie.
It’s no surprise that the 44-year-old star chose this theme, as she previously admitted to be a fan of Wicked and took her choir to watch it in cinema.
Recently, Adam McKay, the Don’t Look Up director, made a shocking prediction about the movie saying that it could be banned in America within three to five years.
"I wouldn’t be surprised if Wicked is banned in three to five years if America keeps going on the track it is."
As for now, the movie has surpassed, 2019s Spider-Man: Far From Home becoming the 49th highest-grossing film of all time.
Wicked has been running in theatres since it’s release on November 22, 2024.
