Francia Raisa reveals she’s working on her new memoir
Francia Raisa has recently spilled the tea about her upcoming memoir during an appearance on Tyler Henry show.
Speaking to PEOPLE, Francia, who is known for donating kidney to Selena Gomez, revealed, “I’ve been quietly in the planning stages of writing a tell-all book about my life.”
“Tyler Henry validated those plans by reaffirming that I should pursue it. Can’t wait to share more!” said the 36-year-old.
Francia shared the news after Tyler told her that she should consider writing a book on November 26 episode of Netflix’s Live From The Other Side with Tyler Henry.
“It seems like it both helps clear [the] past and helps act as an elevation forward,” remarked Tyler.
At that point, the actress opened up that she’s already working on one, however, she had no idea it would be released.
“I’m taking it as a reset for myself,” she stated.
For the unversed, Francia previously made headlines for donating one of her kidneys to long-time friend Selena in 2017, who was suffering from life-threatening complications from lupus at the time and required a transplant.
In 2022, it was reported that there had been a rift between Francia and Selena, especially after the singer said that Taylor Swift was her “only friend” in the industry while speaking to Rolling Stone.
Meanwhile, Francia clarified that they were still friends in December 2023.
