Chunky Panday's 'surprising' joke about daughter Ananya Panday sparks attention

Ananya Panday's father, Chunky Panday, thinks his daughter needs a DNA test for a hilarious reason.

During an exclusive interview with We Are Yuvaa, the CTRL star asked her father to share his opinion on her as an actress.

Her father instantly responded with a question, inquiring if she meant on screen or at home.

The Housefull 2 actor heaped praise on his daughter, crediting her for her incredible skills in her new TV series Call Me Bae.

He hilariously told the podcast, "That's something I would never be able to do. I can pull off a few nice scenes in films, but carrying a whole film or show with you—that’s why I want to get your DNA checked."

The 26-year-old didn't hesitate to ask her father for advice, prompting Chunky to share his stance on the subject.

He said in response, "But every time you shriek, I want to call you up wherever you are at that time. Even though I have so many flaws; every actor has flaws. Actually, we become good actors because of our flaws."

Ananya kicked off her acting career with Student of the Year 2 alongside Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria. Her career took an upward turn after she delivered a phenomenal performance in Kho Gaye Hum Kahaan.
