Kristin Cavallari on losing pal Kelly Henderson over Jay Cutler affair accusations

Kristin Cavallari said goodbye to her friendship with Kelly Henderson because of ex Jay Cutler.

The Very Cavallari star recalled how her relationship with pal Kelly Henderson came to an end in 2020, and it was Kelly’s interactions with her then-husband Jay Cutler that damaged the pair's bond.

“I’ve really had one adult friendship with a woman that blew up in my face,” Kristin, who did not name drop Kelly while she got candid on their fallout, said on the Nov. 19 episode of her Let’s Be Honest podcast.

“I felt as though one of my best friends at the time—who was on the Very Cavallari show—I don’t think she ever had an affair with my ex-husband. But the viewers of the show, season two, were accusing them of having an affair.”

Kristin opened up on her feelings from that time, when she thought that the anonymous friend was “capitalising” on the rumours by “the way she would speak about [Jay] on social media” and “trying to add fuel to the fire,” making the Laguna Beach alum to shoot her then-BFF an email about the controversy.

“I in no way, shape or form attacked or blamed,” she claimed. “It was just, ‘This is how I feel.’ And it blew up in my face.”

Although the pair never got back on friendly terms, Kristin admitted learning an important lesson from the experience.

“You have to just move on from it, unfortunately,” she concluded, “and be thankful for the time that you had together.”

Kristin shares kids Camden, 12, Jaxon, 10, and Saylor, 8, with Jay.
