Kiara Advani's imitation of Deepika Padukone sparks controversy

Bollywood actress Kiara Advani sparked outrage over her resemblance with Deepika Padukone.

Kiara was snapped at the launch of a luxury beauty brand’s flagship store along with the leading star, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter, Suhana Khan.

The 33-year-old sported a red Valentino jacket, having rose appliqué work on the cuffs.

She enhanced the her look with red-shaded lips and a messy ponytail.

However, the Kabir Singh actress received criticism for carrying a look similar to the 38-year-old, as netizens went on spilling their reactions on social media

A social media user stated, “why she looks like Deepika now a days.” Another netizen pointed out, “If you cover her lips she looks exactly like Deepika from forehead.”

One comment read, “Yah Deepika Padukone Ko itna copy kyon Karti hai (Why does she copies Deepika Padukone).”

Whereas, another handler alleged Kiara of “Copying Deepika too much." A Reddit user went on questioning, “Why is she looking like an amalgamation of Deepika and Alia?"

On the work front, Kiara Advani will be sharing the screen with actor Ram Charan, in an upcoming movie, Game Changer. 

Moreover, She will also appear in the sequel of YRF's movie, War 2, along with one of the highest paid actors, Hrithik Roshan.
