Aamir Khan and Ajay Devgn recently excited fans by hinting at a sequel to their classic superhit movie, Ishq.
According to The New Indian Express, the Indian superstars reunited at the launch of the upcoming Bollywood film Tera Yaar Hoon Main on November 9, 2024.
During their noticeable appearance, Aamir and Ajay expressed their desire to collaborate again, possibly for a follow-up to their previous bestselling romantic-comedy movie.
They also recalled several fun-filled experiences while filming their original movie.
Meanwhile, praising his co-star, Aamir said, "I feel very happy whenever I meet Ajay. We don't meet that often, but whenever we do, it's with a lot of warmth and love. I really like the guy he is."
Later, Ajay expressed his wish to remake the sequel of their hit movie and said, "We had so much fun on the sets of Ishq. We should do another one."
"We should," the 3 Idiots star agreed.
The 59-year-old actor also recalled a fun-filled incident while filming the movie together.
Aamir said Ajay saved him from an attacking chimpanzee when they were shooting outdoors in 1997.
For the unversed, the romantic-comedy film Ishq was originally released on November 28, 1997, and starred Aamir, Ajay, Juhi Chawla, and Kajol.
After Ishq, the two never appeared again on big screens.
