Coldplay and Maroon 5, both have witnessed sold out shows in India which has solidified the country’s position on the global music charts.
The International spotlight clearly shows cultural exchange with the west.
Indian singer, Arman Malik has expressed his feelings over the matter, says: “It’s an incredible time for Indian artists.”
He believes that having international artists to perform in the country will have a sound impact on the Indian artists, reports Woman's era.
“When artists like Coldplay and Maroon 5 sell-out shows in India, it’s clear that the world is paying attention. But what’s even more exciting is the way it opens doors for Indian artists like me. We’re not just observers; we’re active participants in this global music movement.”
According to the 29-year-old record producer, international singers performing in India will push the local music producers to push harder and create better music.
A sense of consciousness will eventually develop that will keep on making them remember that they are now competing with global names and not just with the local artists.
Bol Do Na Zara singer went on to say: “Artists from the West, like Ed Sheeran, are coming here to collaborate with us.”
“They see the talent we have, and they want to be part of it. That’s a huge step forward for Indian music.”
