Govinda's daughter shares 'crucial' health update following injury

Actor Govinda's daughter Tina Ahuja shared an update on her father's health after he accidentally shot himself in the leg.

His daughter announced that the actor is now doing well, expressing gratitude towards his fans and followers for keeping him in their thoughts and prayers.

She wrote in the statement, "Dad is getting better; God has been kind. Please keep him in your prayers continuously. Everything is fine now; he has come back from the ICU to the regular ward, and everything is good. He is now healthy and happy."

This comes after the Shiv Sena leader was rushed to Criticare Hospital in Mumbai following his leg injury.

According to his manager, Govinda accidentally discharged his own revolver while attempting to inspect it prior to his flight. The incident took place around 4:45 AM on Tuesday, October 1.

The actor also shared a voice note, thanking fans for their well-wishes and updating the media and his supporters on his current health.
