Arnold Schwarzenegger, Uma Thurman give peek into unexpected ‘Batman’ reunion
'Batman & Robin' villains Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy reunite after 27 years
Batman must not let his guard down as Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy have reconnected.
On Saturday, September 14, Arnold Schwarzenegger took to Instagram to post a new selfie with his Batman & Robin co-star Uma Thurman.
"Freeze and Ivy, reunited," he wrote in the caption, calling back to their villainous characters from the 1997 film. "Watch out, Batman."
In the selfie, the Terminator star and Thurman, 54, flashed wide grins as they shared dinner together in a cosy restaurant.
This surprise reunion came 27 years after their iconic film, directed by Joel Schumacher, first hit the big screen.
In addition, not sure what Batman might be thinking, but fans of the movie were buzzing with excitement over this unexpected reunion.
"We are the dynamic duo! Watch… out," Thurman wrote in the comments.
"Nostalgia is a strong feeling! Thank you for this Arnie!" one fan expressed.
Another fan chimed in saying,"My 10 year old self is so happy rn."
Though Batman & Robin didn't win over critics, the movie was a star-studded affair, featuring George Clooney as Batman, Chris O'Donnell as Robin, Alicia Silverstone as Batgirl and Michael Gough as Alfred Pennyworth.
