Gayle King's son William “Will” Bumpus Jr. tied the knot with Elise Smith on June 2, 2024
Gayle King recently shared more photos from son’s ongoing wedding celebration in a new social media recap.
Her only son William “Will” Bumpus Jr. recently tied the knot with his now-wife Elise Smith earlier this month.
The CBS News journalist couldn’t help but glee over her only son’s celebration of love.
King took to Instagram on Tuesday, June 25 to share a carousel of photos alongside a caption that read: “The @willgb3 & @elisemariesmith wedding celebration continues! They called it WE LOVE cause of their initials and their love.”
Bumpus and Smith said their vows on June 2 but the celebration is still due.
King continued in the caption: “The happiest couple on the planet now wanted to celebrate with their friends. Their request? Kicking off the weekend with a good ol fashion dance party with great music.”
In addition, she expressed gratitude for DJ Suss One and Abbott Elementary’s Janelle James for making the event colourful.
In the photos, the couple was spotted posing in front of a huge floral arrangement at the Terranea Resort.
The second slide featured a video of the couple walking the aisle as guests greeted them.
