Nawazuddin Siddiqui discusses his dislike for high entourage costs
Nawazuddin Siddiqui will next be seen in the film Section 108
Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui has weighed in on the ongoing debate about the high costs associated with large entourages for actors.
In a recent conversation with the Indian Express, the 50-year-old actor expressed his dislike for high entourage costs and explained why he is against them.
When asked about his choice to steer clear of having a large entourage, a trend prevalent among many actors today, the Badlapur star replied, "Because it's not the right thing."
Nawazuddin also responded to why he prefers to keep things understated and low-key, saying, "I don't like it. For me, it's clear. If you've agreed to a certain fee, you should stick to it".
He further commented that all the unnecessary "fuss" doesn't add anything to the film, making it pointless.
The Mom actor added, "I have always stayed away from it because our films never have such big budgets."
Nawazuddin also said that even with a large budget, he avoids it because it's not the right approach and doesn't benefit the industry.
On the work front, Nawazuddin will star in the film Section 108 with Arbaaz Khan and Regina Cassandra.
He also has Noorani Chehre, Bole Chudiyan, Sangeem, and Adbhut lined up.
