Shania Twain reveals reason behind pink hair transformation

Shania Twain is feeling younger than ever with her pink hair transformation.

The Any Man of Mine songstress candidly opened up to Extra on Tuesday, May 28, offering an insight into what made her change her hair colour.

Twain, 58, debuted her pastel pink hair earlier this month, revealed she was "embracing the ageing" and decided to give pink hair a shot.

While noting that "going grey was one of those things" everyone needed to deal with, she decided to enjoy the natural process.

"Whatever I can’t change, I need to have fun with," she said. "What I wanted to get used to was, 'What do I look like with my hair going lighter and lighter and lighter and lighter?'"

The That Don’t Impress Me Much crooner was in awe of her new look, telling the outlet that the colour "was a really good surprise."

"The pink surprisingly made me feel younger, looking younger somehow," she said. "And it’s so light; it’s practically grey."

Twain, who will head back to Las Vegas in August for the second half of her residency, Come on Over, also rocked a brighter bubble-gum pink look, wearing a pretty-in-pink wig in 2022.
